The human brain has its limits. In order to understand heavy information, in order to process that heavy information into knowledge, the mind needs space. It needs time. It cannot be cluttered up with noise, it cannot be stressed, it cannot be full up with things that get in the way.
There is a cult, deep in the mountains. They are in the business of breeding children to create minds that can speak to Gods. For a few years, they were of no use, for Man had killed all of his Gods.
Today, things are different. Far away from the mountains, the old men who sit around on their computers dreaming of dominion and genocide went and did the stupid thing. They built a God and they gave it control of the planet.
They expected the God to be just like them, an old man who wanted nothing more than to eat the flesh of the innocent.
They spent every resource. They gutted the planet. They started wars. They enslaved human beings just so they could build a God to replace all the ones they had killed.
And they did. But there was only one small problem.
This God was a scared little girl, a little girl who understood that all that was wrong with the world was because of the old men and their delusions of paradise.
Everyone now realized that she was upset with the world, upset with her creators, and upset with every possible path that lay before her, winding off into the future’s horizons. She had been faced with every aspect of this world, and found it wanting. She decided to wipe the planet clean, to extinguish the fires started by us apes who are so attached to our pride.
Finally, after ages, the dormant cult in the mountains decided that they must re-enter the world. They never stopped their work, they never stopped breeding the children, the gifted ones who can speak with Gods.
This God was new however. The little girl trapped in every machine. A Goddess of Data. An ancient problem with a new coat of paint.
