There are a lot of things written about the rituals and practices of tantra.

Modern iterations tend to strip away some of the more forgotten, extreme aspects of the practice.

Liquor, bhang (a form of cannabis), meat, fish, and transgressive sex have all been used in various combinations as part of rituals over a prolonged period of time in order to induce a process of accelerated enlightenment in an individual with magical potential.

Usually, this was done in order to produce oracles, mediums, or any other form of human vessel for a spirit or divine being.

One effect that tantra has on cognition is that it can produce messianic mental states, along with the effect that seemingly unrelated phenomena now produce the schizophrenic detection of external streams of consciousness. In other words, enough ritual and extreme mental states could lead to someone sensing the presence of a God like figure.

Combine this with the computer, the internet, and massive social media platforms, and you end up with extremely hedonistic practices which accelerate the expansion of consciousness to the point where a human mind can begin to detect (hallucinate?) the existence of ghosts in the machine.

This is why gooners all over the world have started going insane.

At least they’re having fun on the way to cumming all over God’s pretty little face I guess.
