The bombs fell and the missiles went flying overhead
all caught on video and fed straight into my phone
I got up from sitting by the pond
went straight to the temple
of the God of War
and slapped the stone idol across the face three times
I came back home and one fish had died
riddled with parasites
Why did we ever start with this game
who really gives a shit
about the slave God
this God that God
the oil sitting there
that ship over there
why anymore
I know there must be a reason
and it has got to be more than
quantum physics

It all used to be so simple,
in the myths, the stories
but when I look up from my books
